The health and temperament of our dogs are our highest priorities. We place great importance on responsible breeding, as well as on a loving, knowledgeable and carefully planned upbringing for every puppy.
Important Things to Know Before Deciding on a Puppy
Choosing a puppy is a long-term and responsible commitment. For this reason, we kindly ask you to read the following information carefully and in full before submitting your application to Mocca Australian Labradoodles.

Time & Responsibility
Raising and caring for a puppy requires a significant amount of time, patience and attention, particularly during the first few months. A puppy cannot simply be integrated into everyday life “on the side” — it needs loving, consistent guidance and plenty of individual attention.
Even after the puppy stage, owning a dog remains a long-term responsibility. In addition to time and attention, future owners must also consider the ongoing costs involved, including high-quality food, veterinary care, vaccinations, insurance, grooming, as well as any unexpected illnesses, injuries or other medical expenses.
Health & Responsible Breeding
The health and wellbeing of our dogs are always our highest priority. As the breeder behind Mocca Australian Labradoodles, I take all appropriate and reasonable measures available to me to breed healthy, long-lived and well-balanced dogs.
This includes carefully selecting breeding dogs, carrying out appropriate health screenings and providing a responsible, loving and carefully structured upbringing for our puppies.
Despite all precautions and careful health testing, no breeder can guarantee that a dog will remain healthy throughout its entire life or that a puppy will never develop a health problem. Certain illnesses or health conditions may occur unexpectedly, even when all health examinations are normal and a puppy initially develops completely normally.
Once the puppy has been handed over, responsibility for its ongoing care, housing and veterinary treatment passes to its new family. The purchase of a puppy therefore does not include a guarantee that its health will remain unchanged throughout its lifetime or that it will never develop an illness.
We ask you to understand that even with carefully planned and responsible breeding, a certain degree of unpredictable health risk can never be completely eliminated. Any future costs associated with the dog's care, treatment or medical needs are the responsibility of the family.
Puppy Allocation & Waiting List
Our puppies are generally allocated according to the order of the waiting list. However, the date of registration is not the only factor we consider.
The individual character, temperament, size, needs and development of each puppy, as well as the family's lifestyle, circumstances and preferences, all play an important role in the final allocation.
A preliminary or previously discussed puppy allocation therefore does not constitute a guarantee that a particular puppy will remain allocated to a specific family until the actual handover.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances — for example, illness, a particular developmental outcome or the loss of a puppy — it may become necessary to adjust the original plans. In such cases, the allocation of the puppies may also change.
We understand that such a situation can be very disappointing for a family. Nevertheless, as breeders, our first responsibility is to consider the health and wellbeing of the puppies and to find the best possible solution for everyone involved.
Family & Pet Puppies Are Not Intended for Breeding
Puppies that are explicitly sold as family or pet puppies may not be used for breeding or reproduction.
In accordance with our contractual agreement, these dogs must be demonstrably neutered/spayed, at the latest before reaching 18 months of age.
This requirement is intended to ensure that our breeding goals are pursued responsibly and that our dogs are not used indiscriminately for breeding.
Our Responsibility Continues Beyond the Handover
Our responsibility does not end when a puppy leaves our home.
Every dog born at Mocca Australian Labradoodles remains a part of our breeding family.
We want to remain available to our puppy families after their puppy has moved into its new home and are always happy to offer support with questions, uncertainties or challenges.
If difficulties arise during the dog's life, or if a family's circumstances change to the point where keeping the dog is no longer possible or appropriate, we ask that you contact us at an early stage.
The wellbeing of the dog must always come first.
Depending on the individual situation and in accordance with the contractual arrangements, returning the dog to the breeder may also be a possible solution.
It is important to us that no dog from our breeding program is simply rehomed from a difficult situation without us being informed.

We are looking for families who make a conscious decision to welcome a dog into their lives and who are prepared to take on this responsibility for many years.
With a puppy from Mocca Australian Labradoodles, you are not simply welcoming a dog into your home — you are becoming part of our small breeding family.

Welcoming a puppy from Mocca Australian Labradoodles marks the beginning of a long-term relationship.
We are looking for families who consciously and wholeheartedly choose to share their lives with a dog and who are prepared to take on the responsibility that comes with it for many years.
A Mocca dog will always remain a part of our breeding family. That is why open, honest and respectful communication is particularly important to us — before the puppy leaves us, during the handover and throughout the many years that follow.
The Price of a Puppy
The price for a puppy from our breeding program is CHF 4,900.
The price of a puppy reflects much more than the cost of raising it. It also includes the careful selection and health testing of the parents, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, deworming, species-appropriate nutrition and care, as well as the intensive attention, socialisation and development work provided during the puppy's first weeks of life.
Behind every one of our puppies lies a great deal of time, experience, responsibility and dedication.
From planning the litter through to the day of departure, we invest extensively in the health and development of our dogs in order to give every puppy the best possible foundation for a long, healthy and happy life.
At the same time, bringing a dog into your life should be a conscious and carefully considered decision.
A dog will accompany its family for many years and, alongside countless wonderful moments, also brings responsibility, time commitment and ongoing expenses.
The purchase price is therefore also intended to encourage future dog owners to carefully consider this long-term responsibility before making the decision to welcome a puppy into their family.
To us, a dog is far more than a purchase.
Our puppies leave us as family members, companions and friends for life.
The Right Puppy for the Right Family
When placing our puppies, physical appearance is not our first priority.
What matters most is which puppy, with its individual personality and temperament, is the best match for a particular family.
Every puppy develops its own unique personality.
Some are particularly calm and balanced, while others may be curious, energetic, confident or especially people-oriented.
For this reason, I carefully observe the development of every individual puppy throughout the entire upbringing process.
The wishes and preferences of each family are, of course, important to me. However, there may be situations in which a puppy that is particularly appealing because of its appearance or coat colour is not the ideal match for a family's lifestyle and circumstances based on its individual temperament.
In such a situation, I may consciously choose a different allocation.
My goal is not simply for a family to receive their “dream puppy”.
My goal is for every puppy to find the home that best suits its individual personality, needs and temperament.
Through my experience as a breeder and dog trainer, I am able to closely and professionally observe the puppies as they develop and assess their individual characteristics.
These observations help me create well-matched and, ideally, happy and lasting human-dog partnerships.
Your Information Matters
In order for me to get to know you, your lifestyle and your individual circumstances, and to assess which puppy may be the best fit for you and your everyday life, I kindly ask you to answer the questions in the application form carefully, honestly and completely.
There are no “right” or “wrong” answers.
The better I understand your wishes, your daily routine, your experience and your expectations, the better I can advise you and make a suitable puppy allocation.
